BrentBrent Miller

After earning degrees in both Marketing and Logistics from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, Brent moved to Denver in 1997.  Brent began his career in the corporate world as an Account Executive with OfficeMax, followed by stops as Account Director with Abacus, a division of DoubleClick, Inc., National Sales & Marketing Coordinator for Navis Logistics Solutions, and Marketing Director for Mansfield & Associates, an office of MetLife Financial Services.

With more than 8 years experience in marketing and consultative sales with a focus on market analysis, Brent brought his analytical approach to real estate in 2004 and joined Banyan Real Estate, LLC at its inception in 2009.  Brent’s real estate experience includes a heavy focus on market research and spans a broad range of transactions including residential sales and purchases along with identifying investment opportunities such as multi-unit cash flow options and fix & flip projects.  Whether clients are looking to purchase a home for the first time, selling to move into a larger home, or looking for an investment property, Brent’s main focus is to help them make financially sound real estate decisions.  After living in Westminster and Littleton before settling closer to downtown Denver, Brent and his wife, Kathy, married in Estes Park in 2005 and they’ve continued to enjoy living in Denver ever since.

 

ChrisChris LaMee

Chris is a founder of Banyan Real Estate, LLC.  His focus on being an accomplished broker for his clients started when he received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration/Real Estate from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Leeds School of Business; a total of six years worth of academic work topped off with 2 full years focusing on Real Estate for his MBA.  He’s been in the real estate brokerage business since 1989 and he is essentially a Colorado native after moving to Denver when he was a year old and growing up in Denver and Evergreen.  Chris’ experience and knowledge far outweighs most real estate professionals and he loves to put that experience to work for his clients.

As a founder of Banyan Real Estate, LLC, Chris’ highest concern is quality of service provided to each and every client.  He has assembled a team of professionals who ensure that each client will receive the best customer service based on their personal needs.  That high level of service has led to 85% of Chris’ annual real estate production coming from client referrals and repeat business.  A referral from a satisfied customer is the highest compliment a Realtor can receive and is probably the best indicator of client satisfaction.  Chris has won production awards for the last 20 years in a row, making him one of Metro-Denver’s top real estate professionals and ranking him in the top 1% of producers nationally.  Along with being involved with thousands of real estate transactions, Chris has played an integral role in numerous real estate development and investment projects from large scale ranch land development, to apartment condo conversions, to duplex splits, to office condo creation.  Chris attempts to bring this vast knowledge into every real estate transaction.  From first time buyers to sophisticated investors, Chris enjoys using his experience and knowledge to meet his client’s needs.  If Chris doesn’t think he is the most qualified broker to help you with your specific real estate needs, then he will refer you to an extremely knowledgeable broker in just about any facet of real estate.

Chris primarily focuses on residential and income investment property in Central Denver and all the south and western suburbs.  These areas include: Denver, Littleton, Lakewood, Golden, Englewood, Centennial, Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village and most of Douglas County (Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Sedalia and Roxborough) and Jefferson County (Conifer, Morrison, Ken Caryl, Evergreen.)

Chris and his wife Kim have two daughters and enjoy all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.

 

BrookeBrooke Wilson

Brooke Wilson has been a proud Colorado resident since 1995.  Originally from Hawaii, Brooke studied at the internationally acclaimed Punahou School, while participating in various water sports and climbing the island’s Banyan Trees.  The Banyan Tree is very symbolic for Brooke.  Her awareness of the importance of deep, strong roots, as well as sturdy, expansive branches, carries through in every aspect of her life and offers the perfect company name to stand behind.

Brooke’s personal/professional approach and contribution to her clients and industry-partners lives up to her client-coined nick-name, “The Moving Doula.” Fittingly, “Doula” is a Greek word that means “a woman who serves.”  Brooke has been serving in the real estate industry since 2003, beginning her career in Title Processing, transitioning into Real Estate Development, Investment and Residential Sales.   Working with a hand-picked group of real estate and construction specialists, Brooke and her team played a supportive role in the rebirth of numerous beloved Denver communities in the 2000’s, converting dilapidated buildings and single family homes throughout the Metro area into beautiful, safe, quality homes for their new owners and generations to come.   Through the economic down turn of the national market, Brooke and her clients not only survived but thrived!  Her high level of commitment, experience and passion for understanding the details surrounding personal/ financial investments and growth offers successful results with a peace-of-mind experience.  Brooke is a Certified Negotiation Expert with a BA in Communication, recognized year after year as a Roundtable of Excellence award winner from the Association of Realtors, and is continually nominated and awarded the “5 Start Professional” award from her cohorts and happy clients.    As such, Brooke’s annual real estate production comes primarily from repeat clients and client referrals- a true testament of her high level of client satisfaction and success.

Dianne Johnson

A Transaction Closing Manager who makes sure that clients experience a successful real estate closing.  She is meticulous in her approach and is highly-trained in her ability to provide refined administrative and communications support, and excellent customer service for our clients.  Her goal is to make sure that clients walk away from the closing table happy and optimistic about their home sale or purchase.   Dianne has been assisting real estate agents in this capacity for more than 12 years.   Before real estate, she spent a decade as a contract analyst for a Denver-based oil and gas company.  At Banyan Real Estate, Dianne works closely with our clients to ensure that they have a high comfort level throughout the contract process, helping to guide them successfully through the sometimes overwhelming course of buying or selling a home.  Colorado has been her home for 46 years and along with her husband, has raised their two boys in this beautiful State.

Leonard Wilson

A Colorado native born and raised in Denver Ireceived my B.A. in Finance from University of Colorado in Boulder and a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Denver.   My interest in real estate startedat AIMCO, real estate investment trust, working as an assistant controller.  Subsequently, I took a position as a divisional CFO for Qwest Communications, but kept my hand in the real estate world buying 16 residential single-family investment properties in central Denver.

In time, my passion and interest in real estate surpassed my interest in corporate finance, so I left Qwest to pursue full-time real estate work. I began doing residential mortgages through my own company New Vision Financial in the early 2000’s and a few years later added residential brokerage service through Banyan Real Estate.  Additionally, I hold a CPA license andcoupled with my finance background and expertisegives me a more sophisticated view of real estate investing and financing.

From the beginning, building my real estate business has always been about adding value-added services to my clients in a unique and useful way.   For most real estate professionals, it’s about marketing to attain and keep clients and new referrals.  That’s never been my approach. Rather I wake up each and ever day and ask how I can add more value through greater knowledge and expertise coupled with new and interesting product and service offerings.

Today, one of those unique product offerings includes my 16 single-family homes, which I offer for rent under short-term flexible options.  These homes are not for sale, but rather for transitionary stays in support of real estate transactions.  My clients in this space typically fall into two general categories.  Some are relocating to Denver and want to buy a home, but don’t want to rush their decision in a few weekend trips to Denver.  In that case,they can rent a comfortable single-family home with a flexible lease and take a few months to find the right home to purchase. Other clients relocating within Denver and the surrounding areas use these rentals to provide time to sell their home and find the right new home rather than rushing a purchase to coincide with the sale. This allows time to professionally sell their home and not sacrifice what they want on the new home.

I also offer my rental in reserve program for my clients. For example, some do notwant to rent, but are concerned about finding the right place in the time allotted.  In that case,we start a home search before they relocate and if we don’t find a home before their move clients move into the rental and we continue the search. They are guaranteed a rental in reserve during this process in case they don’t find the right place in the allotted time.  It’s really the best of both worlds -an opportunity to buy and/or sellusing optimal strategy and pricing without being rushed while still having a back up.

This offering is all about giving clients more control over the home buying and selling process leading to better outcomes overall whether that be financially, personally or both.

I’m involved in a variety of services sometimes just acting as a mortgage broker in a refinance, other times helping a client buy and finance a home, or helping through the full cycle of buying, selling andfinancing while providing a rental.  I also work with investors, who like myself, want to own a portfolio of investment properties and need sophisticated advice on building, financing and managing a multi-property portfolio.  I truly enjoy what I do day in and day out and I am passionate about making a positive difference, no matter what the situation.

Staying on top of market trends and utilizing her wealth of knowledge regarding the metro and surrounding areas allows Kathleen’s clients to truly enjoy both buying and selling their homes.

Kathleen holds a graduate degree from CU and was a retail buyer for Macy’s in NYC. She is a proud wife and proud mother of two college students. Kathleen recently competed in Denver’s half marathon and enjoys every aspect of what she considers to be the greatest city to live in.
