Once in a great while, I work with someone so exceptional that I’m compelled to write a Google Review.  Chris Lamee & his outstanding team at Banyan Real Estate are such compelling masters.

I was first introduced to Chris by my former husband, an astute & successful entrepreneur. I kept working with Chris after the end of my marriage; Chris proved to be skilled at negotiation and navigating difficult conversations; he was more knowledgeable about the market than the usual broker. I have now worked with Chris for almost two decades on over a dozen transactions – both residential and commercial. It wasn’t until recently when Chris sold my personal residence, however, that I discovered how truly exceptional of a service he provides. He’s also humble, and too busy working hard to please his clients, so his exceptionalism must be discovered for oneself. It’s not in the marketing materials.

Because of the friendship I have developed with Chris, I initially wanted to sell my home with Sotheby’s — it was almost too personal selling my home for me to want to work with Chris.  I was also drawn to the name-brand allure of Sothebys. After much consideration, I decided to sell with Banyan.

Not only did Chris help me during the emotional turmoil of selling the home where I raised my kids, and came into my own as an entrepreneur myself, Chris was the consummate professional dealing with brokers, potential buyers, and the drama in between. He became an expert in every aspect of my renovated house, literally and proverbially going into the crawl space of my home.  He became versed in every aspect of my home, from the HVAC renovation to the French drain and roof repairs.  During the extensive and exhausting inspection resolution process, Chris & his team oversaw every aspect of the checklist, plus recommended vendors, ensured the quality of their work, and negotiated bills on my behalf.  I felt heard and supported throughout the process – Chis also had great expertise to offer.

Two offers were above asking price.  I closed on the sale of my home for a record listing in my neighborhood, well above asking price, with all of the criteria that I wanted in a sale (and I had a lot of demands).
